Singing bowls are an ancient Tibetan ritual tool of Tibetan Buddhism used for meditation by producing a pure tone, or sound when the rim is rubbed by the wooden striker and is said to put the brain into a meditative state. Although the sounds made by singing bowls may vary due to their size and the material used in their creation, they all resonate at the same wavelength as your brainwaves resonate to produce feelings of total relaxation.

It measures approximately 4.5 inches in diameter x 1.75 inches tall, with a mouth opening of approximately 4 inches in diameter. The striker used to play the singing bowl measures approximately .875 inches in diameter x 5 inches long. The cushion ring measures approximately 3.25 inches in diameter x .875 inches tall.
