Raven Necklace by Alchemy Gothic is a graphic representation of the subject of Poe's most celebrated and tragic narrative poem of the same name, supernaturally lamenting the death of a young lover.
There was a lot of thought that went into the creation of this fantastic necklace. From the use of the nickle free chain with a suspended Oval Cut Amethyst Swarovski Crystal, to the feathered raven with dangling skull below.
There are two Swarovski Crystals in the design with one being the larger Oval Cut Amethyst Swarovski Crystal, and the other being a smaller Round Cut Black Swarovski Crystal.
Each Raven Necklace is hand-crafted out of the highest grade of lead free pewter, 92 percent tin alloy, known as English Pewter and made in England in the Alchemy Workshops by highly skilled, hand-craftsmen also known as Legends of England.
The ribbon necklace measures approximately 30 total inches, not including the pendant. (14 on one side and 16 on the other). The ribbon necklace is doubled for added strength and security as well as elegance. Left side black satin ribbon measures approximately 14 inches, and the right side is 16 inches of black satin ribbon to allow for an adjustable and more custom fit.
The main Oval Cut Amethyst Swarovski Crystal measures approximately .5 inches or 13mm wide by .75 inches or 19mm tall, not including the pewter mounting. The smaller Round Cut Black Swarovski Crystals measure .25 inches or 6mm in diameter.
The approximate measurement of the ravens feather body as it hangs is 2 inches or 51mm wide by 4 inches or 102mm long. It comes packaged on a velvet card and ships in a 6 inch by 7 inch black organza storage bag that has a Velcro closure.
