Raspberry Leaf is a deciduous shrub that has shoots that comes from the root of the plant. Its leaves grow on both sides of the stem. It has bristly stems and white flowers that are produced in clusters in summer. Aromatic, juicy, red fruits are produced later.
Raspberry Leaf is native to North America but are cultivated in other countries including Canada. Although it is best known for its delicious red berries, raspberry leaves have a number of medical applications.

Raspberry Leaf Tea
1 part fennel
1 part rosehips
1 part hibiscus flowers
1 part melissa
1 part red raspberry leaf
1 part stevia
1 part peppermint
1 part chamomile
Add 2 tsp of loose leaf tea to one cup of boiled water and steep for five minutes.
Sweeten with if required.
