The Triquetra regarded by some in Wicca as the power of three, is the focal point of the green altar top. Long before any TV shows adopted this ancient Celtic Triquetra symbol it was used in pagan and Christian teachings. Christians use it to represent the Holy Trinity. It has been used to represent the threefold nature of the Goddess: As maiden, mother, and crone. It has been used to symbolize the three faces of the Goddess, balance of Mind, Body and Spirit. The circle signifies the ever-turning cycle of life, death and rebirth. The Triquetra is a fantastic way to represent the power of three what ever the group is. Fans of these Magick based shows will recognize the Triquetra symbol used as a positive wiccan and pagan symbol.
On this display the Triquetra represents three faces of the Goddess, balance of Mind, Body and Spirit. Then below the pentacle we have placed the protective symbol of a fiery TRIPLE MOON which is a symbol of the triple Goddess in motion, the three phases of the moon, waxing, full and waning, and the three phases of womanhood, maiden, mother and crone. I just wanted to say how awesome this altar board is in person. I seen it online and it looked really nice, and I liked the colors really well, but as soon as I opened it I quickly seen it was even better in person. The colors really pop off of the altar and it is perfect. Thanks for such a great altar board.
