Another one of the 'essential' essentials. If you're just starting out or are an aromatherapist guru, eucalyptus is one of the 'must haves' of them all.
There are many many types of eucalyptus, this being the most widely used.
This essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil before applying to the skin.
All eucalyptus oils are toxic if taken internally. Do not drink this oil.
Uses include: for treatment of abscesses, aches and pains, asthma, bronchitis, burns, blisters, catarrh, chicken pox, colds, coughs, cuts, cystitis, debility, dust mites, epidemics, 'flu, headaches, herpes, infections, insect bites, insect repellent, laundry, leucorrhoea, lice, measles, muscular aches and pains, poor circulation, neuralgia, rheumatoid arthritis, sinusitis, skin infections, sprains, throat infections, wounds.
The Grey Gum Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiate), Gully Gum Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus smithii) and the Blue Mallee Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus polybractea) have very similar properties but tend to have a sweeter aroma.. (Also known as Fever Tree, Gum Tree, Southern Blue Gum, Stringy Bark, Tasmanian Blue Gum.)
This is such a useful oil, and this one is definitely high quality.
