A singing bowl is one of the ritual object of Tibetan Buddhism. It has therapeutic value as well. The sound therapy from singing bowls is used in meditation, healing and prayers. Traditionally the bowls are made of seven metals, each of metals denotes the planets. Gold: Sun, Silver: Moon, Mercury: Mercury, Copper: Venus, Iron: Mars, Tin: Jupiter, and Lead: Saturn.
In the base of the singing bowl are raised embellishments including leaves and sitting Buddhas.

The singing bowl measures approximately 4 inches in diameter x 1.75 inches tall. The striker measures approximately .875 inches in diameter x 5 inches long. The cushion ring measures approximately 3.25 inches in diameter x .875 inches tall. The gift box measures approximately 3.75 inches x 4 inches x 4 inches.
