Enchanted Box

Enchanted Box by Nemesis Now is a great chest themed cold cast resin storage box.

If you love old storage chests, this enchanted box is for you. From the wooden planks that are used to build this chest to the ivy growing on it, there is a lot of beautiful detail in its overall design.

The appearance of this chest is the same as that of an old pirates chest except for one thing, its not. The shape is the same, but the metal straps have been replaced by those of brown ivy and green leaves for a punch of color.

The curved top of the chest has a triangle carved into its wood, and in the center of the triangle is an interlaced pentacle.

The lid is held on to the base of the chest by two metal hinges, and the hasp or closure of the lid onto the base to keep its contents secure is made of metal.

The two ends of this gorgeous chest are adorned with three ladies. Those ladies are powerful and mystical in their own rite. We are of course speaking of the maiden, mother and crone. Above the three ladies on either end of the chest is the triple moon crest. the crest is of course comprised of two crescents and one full moon emblazoned into the chest for added depth and beauty.

The triple moon represents the triple goddess aspect, and this chest has a special meaning for women in the craft because at one time or the other in their life, the maiden, mother and crone will represent them, their life, and their craft.

This Enchanted Box has such a great amount of detail work in its layout and design, you can actually see the facial features, clothing and posture of the three women on either side of the box to easily denote which of them are the maiden, mother and crone.

The maiden is standing on the left, and is represented by the left crescent moon, the mother in the center and represented by the full moon, and last but not least, the women on the right is the crone and represented by the right facing crescent moon.

The outer dimensions of the chest measure approximately 3.75 inches wide x 3 inches deep x 3.75 inches tall. The interior of the box measures approximately 2.625 inches wide 2.25 inches deep x 3 inches tall.

A real perk of owning a chest box such as this is it not only serves the user as a trinket or stash box, but also serves as a piece of beautiful decor that others will find adorable, and may never know its true meaning.
