The lid with the horned dragon is totally removable and is not hinged. The internal compartments each measure approximately 2.25 inches x 3.5 inches x 1.125 inches.

From the golden lock on the front side of the books pages, to the golden bookmark cord protruding from the books pages there is an immense amount of detail in this design. There is a golden pentagram on the books spine which is an indicator this is a book possibly full of magickal spells. Even a safety feature has been included such as rubber pads on the base of the box to keep your table top from being scratched.
