The base of this fantastically designed candle holder is designed to appear as if it is made of granite stone with a huge celtic cross planted into it.
In the center of the cross is what some refer to as an english cross with two crossed swords over its face. At the base of the celtic cross is a horned dragon, coiled around the base peering out as if it is guarding the flames of the illuminated candles.
Three of the horned dragons talons are clutching large stones as if the dragon is ready to lunge at anything that moves while its front right talons are clutching the celtic cross itself.
