Dragon Celtic Box is a rectangular storage box with feet and a dragon on top for added protection.
On all four sides of this wonderful box is an ornate banding of celtic knotwork. The top of the box is also edged with a similar banding of knotwork that matches the sides.
The box itself sites atop four short feet that have their own flair to match the overall theme of the box itself. The bottom of the four feet are padded with felt pads to protect your table top or shelf where the box will be sitting.
The dragon protector of your box is hunched over with head turned back towards its tail as if has caught a glimpse of something creeping up from behind. It wings are folded, but look as if they are about to spread open wide as the dragon lets loose of a chilling scream or warning call.
The detail in the dragon is very fine, and includes the scales, and spikes of its backbone, the horns on her head, the ripple of her cold clammy skin on her wings.
Her teeth are paper shredding sharp can be seen in her partially open mouth, and her tongue can be seen as it twists and curls.
The dragon is a fixed part of the boxes lid, and it is not hinged, which allows the box to be fully opened to reveal its contents.
The box is done in a hand painted faux stone for a more realistic finish, and is made entirely of cold cast resin.
Its inside storage compartment measures approximately 2.5 inches wide at its widest point x 4.5 inches long at its longest point x 1 inch deep.
Use this Dragon Celtic Box for storage, decor, or just about anything else you wish, but one thing is for sure, it will be a conversation piece and add drama where ever it is displayed.
