Claddagh Hair Comb by Alchemy Gothic is a gothic variant of the traditional C17th Galway symbol of eternal love, friendship and loyalty by virtue of its heart, hand and crown, but with bones for 'beyond the grave'.
The highly polished and detailed pewter hair comb has great detail within the claddagh. The translucent ruby enameled heart with skull peering through it, while it is being held by hands of bone is a reminder of a love that transcends death, and goes well beyond the grave itself.
Each Claddagh Hair Comb is hand-crafted out of the highest grade of lead free pewter, 92 percent tin alloy, known as English Pewter and made in England in the Alchemy Workshops by highly skilled, hand-craftsmen also known as Legends of England.
The ruby enameled heart measures approximately .625 inches or 16mm wide by approximately .625 inches or 16mm tall.
Each of the high polished pewter hair combs measure approximately 4 inches wide at the widest point by 4 inches tall. The length of the combs teeth measures approximately 2.625 inches long by .25 inches wide at their widest point.
