Our body contains seven main energy centers that are called Chakras. Each chakra is connected to our major organs and glands that govern our body parts.
Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means wheel. A chakra is a wheel like spinning vortex that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibratory level. These spinning wheels draw in energy from our surroundings as well as radiate an energy of vibration back out.
Each Chakra is connected on several different levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The seven main chakra centers are aligned along the spinal column. If there are disturbances on any level, this effects the chakras level of vitality.
Each chakra is not only associated with our physical health but also controls aspects connected to our emotional, mental and belief system.
